What You Do With What You Have

It’s not what you have but what you do with what you have that will determine your accomplishments in life.
At any moment, we need to remember to do the best with what we have. I think being just grateful is one of the most powerful skills every person has. But not everyone is aware of it. We need to be aware of the law of gratitude because if we don’t appreciate small things in our life, we cannot have more. If we don’t appreciate small opportunities, we cannot have more and bigger opportunities.

I think there’s many people who just complain about the things, which they don’t have. This kind of mindset will prevent them automatically to achieve more in a life…whatever it could be: more love, more joy, more money etc.
The same question is how you use your knowledge. You can have a lot of knowledge and still think that it’s not enough. We need to improve ourselves but still remember what we have at this current moment.

Always look at what you have, instead of what you don’t have or what you’ve lost. We cannot turn the time.

“Time passes unhindered. When we make mistakes, we cannot turn the clock back and try again. All we can do is use the present well.” – Dalai Lama XIV

I created this look using pieces, which I wore last months and last year.

The only new accessories are sunglasses by Jessica Simpson, which I bought last week in TKMaxx.
The top by Zara was used before:
“Summer Style Inspiration”
“Believe You Can And You’re Halfway There”

These shoes by Armani Jeans were used before:
“Believe You Can And You’re Halfway There”
“Office Lookbook Inspiration”
“Summer In Air”
“#Unexpected Western Fashion Trend”

These shorts by Express I wore here:
“Be What You Wanna Be, Wear What You Wanna Wear”

This bag by Blanco I bought during Lisboa Fashion Week in March.
I wore it here:

The necklace with pendant in the form of a tiny pineapple by Blackout I wore last year here:

Wish you a wonderful weekend my loves!

I love this post! This is something I really love to do. I love to take different pieces and make a brand new outfit with them. It inspires my creativity and helps me feel confident in pieces I have worn many times before. Thanks for the reminder.

This is so very true! I love what you have done to recycle old looks to make them into new looks – a fringe top never goes out of style!

I absolutely agree that being grateful is one of the most important things in life. I don’t remember now who said it but he/she said that if thanks is the only prayer we ever say in our lives, then that will suffice. I think that’s beautiful.

I love the title of this post. i often just keep aside what I have and look for new stuffs to buy in the market. But my mums always styling herself up (which looks better than my newly purchased stuffs BTW) with old clothes. So, yes i quite agree with your title.

Exactly! Instead of focusing on what we don’t have it’s better to focus on what we have, and that goes for our outfit. Love this post! Your outfit is gorgeous.
